Gordon Castle Walled Garden
After two days of visiting distilleries, we opted for some more “dry” activities on Saturday.
The nearby Gordon Castle Walled Garden provided our first diversion and, as you will see in the photos, provided a fuller understanding of the maxim “If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes.”

White lavender is very unique, and there are only about a dozen white-flowered species.

My jackfruit pie with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy.
Madi’s chicken, ham, and leek pie with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy.
Amanda’s hummus served with sourdough and salad; potato and leek soup.
Jeff had a ham & cheese ciabatta. Everything was fresh and delicious!
Bow Fiddle Rock
With its steep folded sides and rock arch, the formation resembles a fiddle or violin bow tip.
